Every action of the University and its members, which concerns further education, continuing education, training, and in general Lifelong Learning is carried out through the Centre of Training and Lifelong Learning of the Ionian University.

The main lines of action of the Centre are as follows:
•Development of Education, Training and Lifelong Learning Programmes and Training Seminars.
•Development of Distance Education and Training Programmes.
•Development of training and education courses and training courses for continuing education and training courses.
•Conclusion of Programmatic Agreements with the Regions and Municipalities, Educational and Professional Institutions, Public Benefit Institutions, as well as other Public and Non-State Institutions.
•Participation in training activities for business personnel.
•Support actions for the development of the Social Economy.
•Certification of qualifications.

The Training and Lifelong Learning Centre provides vocational education and training programmes, continuing education, and Lifelong Learning in general, as well as training seminars that link theoretical and practical knowledge, developing mainly the applied dimension of sciences in the respective professional fields. The programmes provided by the KEDIVIM cover a wide range of scientific fields and are implemented using three different methods:
•Face - to - face,
•Distance learning, purely through the use of distance learning methods,
•Mixed programmes using a combination of face-to-face and distance learning.
