The Lifelong Learning Centre – Ionian University carries out every action of the University and its members which concerns further education, continuing education, training and Lifelong Learning in general.

The main lines of action of the Centre are as follows:
- Development of Education, Training and Lifelong Learning Programs and Training Seminars.
- Development of Distance Education and Training Programs.
- Development of training and education courses and training courses for continuing education and training courses.
- Conclusion of Programmatic Agreements with the Regions and Municipalities, Educational and Professional Institutions, Public Benefit Institutions, as well as other Public and Non-State Institutions.
- Participation in training activities for business personnel.
- Support actions for the development of the Social Economy.
- Certification of qualifications.
