The Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University is an autonomous Educational Unit of the Ionian University with the aim of providing Training Programmes and Actions, Continuing Professional Education and Lifelong Learning. The Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University fully complies with the Principles and Values that govern the development, management and certification of quality systems in the Institution, as well as with the guidelines and policies of the National Association for the Promotion of Education and Training, while it actively monitors and develops in accordance with the relevant European Standards, the Guidelines and any Good Practices implemented in the European area of lifelong learning and training.

The Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University is committed to providing high quality training and lifelong learning programmes within the framework of the approved Quality Policy. Within the framework of this Policy, the main strategic axes of objectives are defined, which are reviewed at regular intervals by the competent bodies and in accordance with internal and external evaluations, as follows:
A. Expansion and continuous improvement of the Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University.: Strengthening and increasing the training programmes and actions of the Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University

B. Extroversion, social responsibility and market orientation of the Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University.: The training programmes and actions of  the Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University are oriented towards the needs of the labour market at national, regional and local level.

C. Broadening the sources of funding for the Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University: Developing new sources of funding for the Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University from public, European or private resources.
The Quality Target of the Lifelong Learning  Centre - Ionian University is monitored and updated periodically, and evaluated based on predefined procedures, within the framework of the I.U.'s MODIP and third parties, in order to ensure that it remains appropriate and up-to-date.
