Regulation of Studies

The KEDIBIM IU's Regulation of Studies has been published in Articles 5.6 and 8 of the KEDIBIM IU's Rules of Procedure.

ITEM 5.

Implementation of Training Programmes

5.1. Types and Method of Programme Implementation
The Centre's programmes can be implemented either face-to-face or remotely or a combination of the above.
In particular: Face-to-face Education. The facilities must have all the necessary logistical equipment required for the proper implementation of the programmes and must ensure accessibility, safety and hygiene conditions. This equipment is under the responsibility of the scientific director of each programme, whose staff must ensure that it is in good working order during and at the end of the programme. The face-to-face training must ensure interaction between the trainer and the trainees. The implementation of such programmes shall be carried out through a structured curriculum, in a specific place, with a clear duration and timetable.
Distance learning: The implementation of the programmes is done purely through the use of Distance Education and Digital Learning Methods and Technologies. In this case, a specific distance learning platform will be used, training materials adapted to this method and appropriate evaluation and monitoring procedures for learners. This type of training is a flexible form of training, as there is no time and place limitation. It is based on the principles of open learning and caters for the needs of personalised learning. Distance learning can be in a synchronous or asynchronous format, adapted to the requirements of each training programme. It ensures that learners become familiar with modern and asynchronous e-learning tools. The implementation of these programmes shall be based on a structured curriculum, with a clear duration and procedures for evaluating the performance of trainees.
Mixed Education: blended learning programmes are implemented through a combination of face-to-face and distance learning. In this case, the training material and the monitoring and evaluation method are adapted to both forms of learning and a specific distance learning platform is used. It ensures that learners are familiar with modern and asynchronous e-learning tools. Interaction between learners and trainers is ensured. For both face-to-face and distance learning courses, the provisions of the previous two paragraphs apply respectively.
